Prince Harry’s 40th Birthday Celebrations Caused a Stir Within the Royal Family.
As the Prince turns 40 this year, an expert predicts some royal family members may join him despite ongoing feuds.
As Prince Harry approaches his 40th birthday later this year, he faces some significant decisions, particularly regarding potential Royal Family attendees.
Royal expert Tom Quinn anticipates that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie may join the festivities.
However, Quinn notes that involving Beatrice and Eugenie could be problematic. “If any key members of the Royal Family are involved in Prince Harry’s 40th birthday celebrations, it will be Beatrice and Eugenie, but this presents a problem for Prince Harry,” he explained.
Prince Harry reportedly wants to include his cousins but would exclude Prince Andrew, which could upset Beatrice and Eugenie, who are loyal to their father.
Quinn also highlighted that Prince Harry has grown closer to Beatrice and Eugenie since moving to America, despite his rift with other royals.
This budding friendship is causing unease for Prince William and
Quinn mentioned, “For William and Kate, an alliance between Prince Harry and Meghan and Beatrice and Eugenie is a huge worry. They sense that Beatrice and Eugenie feel they have more in common with Prince Harry and Meghan than with any other part of the family.”
The situation is further complicated by Kate’s current health issues.
“The senior royals’ main asset – Kate herself – is out of action while she continues her treatment for cancer,” Quinn added.
The Princess of Wales announced her diagnosis in March and has since stepped down from public duties.
Quinn also pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan’s upcoming tour of Nigeria could shift the public’s attention.
He said, “The worry for the senior royals is that Prince Harry and Meghan will seize the initiative, enjoying positive publicity while Kate is forced to stay in the background.”
Despite the tension, Prince Harry and Meghan have maintained regular contact with Beatrice and Eugenie, who remain free from the conflicts surrounding Meghan’s time in the UK.
