Why Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes wants credit for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship
The Kansas City Chiefs are undoubtedly one of the most popular teams in the NFL. It helps when you have the league’s best QB, two Super Bowl victories in a row, and a star player dating the most famous woman in the world. Patrick Mahomes wants some credit for the Travis Kelce + Taylor Swift relationship, and he may have helped them kick things off.
On a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Mahomes spoke on the part he played during the beginning of Taylor and Travis’s relationship.
It’s been a fun run, I’d like to take some of the credit,” Mahomes said. “I was the one who invited Travis to the first Taylor concert with the friendship bracelet. He was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker.”
According to Mahomes, he is the one who urged Travis to pursue Taylor.
“I’ve had some input there as well,” Mahomes said. “I was like dude, you should just go for it, just go for it. And you know Travis man, he does it, and he’s a great dude and I’m glad that it’s all worked out for the best.”
