This Adorable Video of Taylor Swift Giving Her “22” Hat to a Young Girl With Cancer Will Make You Weep Full Story below.
Taylor Swift has the sweetest tradition on her Eras Tour that continues to touch hearts around the world. During the Red portion of the show, Swift sings her famed song (and frequent Instagram birthday caption inspiration) “22,” wearing a white oversized shirt, sparkly hot pants, fishnet stockings, and a black fedora, which she gives to one lucky pre-selected fan in the crowd. At a recent performance in Sydney, Australia, the singer passed her hat to a young fan with cancer in a now-viral video that will definitely tug at your heartstrings.
At the Feb. 23 show, Swift sweetly gave the hat to 9-year-old Scarlett Oliver, who is battling brain cancer. In a video shared to Instagram by Scarlett’s stepmother Natalie Oliver, the young fan excitedly waits at the end of the stage and lights up as Swift walks down the long runway to give her a hug and place the hat on her head. Swift then grabs both of Scarlett’s hands and kisses them before she mouths, “Love you!”
